Hello. I'm Ivan Madan. Welcome to my personal website.

This website intends to display the projects I am currently working on as well as projects I have been working on in the recent past. If you get interested in any of these, or just want to get to know me, don't hesitate to contact me. 
In a few words, I am a physicist, activist, and organizer, as well as curious about philosophy, AI, economics, enterpreneurship and inner exploration.
My physics projects mostly concern scientific endeavors at EPFL in Switzerland and Josef Stefan Institute in Slovenia. My favorite is still the ongoing Heidi project, sponsored by Google Inc.  Despite being out of science for some time, I would still read, discuss, or even do some work for the Heidi project. In a few word, Heidi project aims to explore the possibility of external control of nuclear reactions via particle wave function engineering—more on Heidi here.
In 2022-2023 I was exploring the non-profit world. My biggest public contribution is running the summer fellowship of Swiss Existential Risk Initiative. You can read my thoughts here or visit their website.
In my free time, I study machine learning (my Kaggle profile) and plan to publish one of many socio-economic ideas into a write-ups, more here.
